The students' association behind the workshop.
Who DAJ is
Developers Association Jhapa is an autonomous, non-profitable, non-governmental and non-political social organization, established in 2024 by young students who wanted the same thing you probably want: a way from classrooms into real software work.
We run tech events, workshops and meetups across Jhapa so students and developers can share knowledge, collaborate, and keep pace with how the industry actually builds.
Skill development
Practical technology education — workshops where you strengthen actual coding skills, not just familiarity.
Community building
Connecting students with peers and working professionals, so learning doesn't stop when the session ends.
Industry bridge
A standing bridge between students and Nepal's IT industry, built on exposure to real work.
What Build with DAJ is
Our flagship program, built for students tired of watching tutorials about code instead of writing it. Over three days you set up tools, write code, fix bugs, and deploy something that works — alongside other motivated students from schools, colleges and campuses across Jhapa.
Registration is open to +2 (Science or Management), Diploma and Technical SLC students. No prior experience required — bring a laptop and the will to build.
Learn by doing
Every session is built around writing code and shipping something tangible. Lectures happen at desks; this happens at keyboards.
Beginner friendly
We start from fundamentals. Curiosity and commitment matter more than your current skill level.
Community first
Participants learn together, help each other debug, and stay in the DAJ community long after the last day.
Not our first event.
Before Build with DAJ, the association was already running rooms full of students and code.
